A manifestly gauge-invariant formulation of quantum electrodynamics
A manifestly gauge-invariant formulation of quantum electrodynamics is constructed in which the basic dynamical variables are physically observable quantities. The theory is relativistically covariant, because the structure of the Poincaré group is built into it from the beginning.
