A Spatial Analysis of Financial Development and Green Complexity

This paper aims to examine the impact of financial development on the green complexity of Turkey’s provinces over the period 2004-2019. Utilizing a spatial panel data model, the results suggest that deposits to GDP ratio, credit to GDP ratio and number of bank branches enhances green complexity of Turkish provinces while the spatial spillover impacts are also find to be significant
