A transportation and logistic support model for aircraft aboard navy carriers
The U.S. Navy's 13 carrier battle groups play a critical role in support of U.S. defense strategy. However, the mission of the combat aircraft aboard these aircraft carriers cannot be sustained unless they have sufficient transportation and logistic support. This paper describes the development of an econometric model of the transportation and logistic support system that keeps the carrier's combat aircraft flying.
