Adaptation of the balanced realization to the coupling of reduced order models for the modelling of the thermal behavior of buildings
This work is devoted to the field of building physics and related to the reduction of heat conduction transfer models. The aim is to enlarge the model libraries of heat and mass transfer codes through limiting the considerable dimensions reached by the numerical systems during the modelling process of a multizone building. We show that the balanced realization technique, specifically adapted to the coupling of reduced order models with the other thermal phenomena, turns out to be very efficient.
