An Optimal Controller for Multi-Load-Bus Voltage Control and Reactive Power Sharing in Autonomous Ac Microgrid
The subject of an optimal control of distributed energy resources (DERs) in AC islanded microgrid (MG) has gain important research attention in a recent times. This work proposes an optimal control strategy which performs the voltage control and reactive power-sharing for a multi-bus AC islanded MG. The proposed work is composed of: (i) network load estimator; (ii) an optimal regulator, a multi-objective function with an equality constraints. Load estimator employed to attain the accurate load impedances information, while optimal regulator is responsible to send optimal control commands to each DER. A supervisory secondary control layers is employed to regulate the system frequency deviations. Robustness of the presented study is analyzed by a series of parameters uncertainties. The results obtained from MATLAB case study simulations and experiments show the effectiveness for optimizing the reactive- power and system voltage. Modeling and analysis of the small-signal stability under presented scheme is well investigated through improved-mathematical small signal models
