Analysis of Failure Rate Components in Production System by Applying Fuzzy Expert System and Presenting a Fuzzy Model for Failure Rate in Production System

Most organizations search for factors creating competitive advantage in the current economic world. The reliability process serves as a competitive advantage for different production organizations. The reduced failure rate in the new production systems helps organizations to keep their competitive and inclusive situations in the competitive market. The extant study was conducted to identify effective variables by examining factors affecting failure rate assessment and select these variables by using the Delphi decision-making method considering conditions of the studied industry in Iran. In the next step, an expert decision-making system was designed to examine the failure rate in the production system. There were few studies on failure rate in the production system; hence, the present study was conducted to 1) determine decision-making variables to evaluate failure rate in the production system, 2) determine linguistic variables for failure rate assessment model in the production system, 3) providing decision-making expert system for failure rate assessment model in the production system
