Assessment of data needs and data availability for the development of indicators on soil contamination

Information on the national relevance and data availability of a proposed list of policy-relevant indicators on soil contamination from local and diffuse sources is provided in this report. It constitutes the final output of a working group on soil contamination indicators and analyses the results of a consultation of partners within the European environment information and observation network (EIONET). The outcomes of this consultation are feeding into the establishment of a regular process of data collection and assessment.
