Booster Draft Mechanisms for Multi-Object Assignment
We describe a new method — what we call booster draft mechanisms — for allocating multiple, indivisible objects among a group of individuals: Individuals take turns drawing objects from different sets — called boosters — and simply need to identify their favorite object when it’s their turn to choose. We contrast booster draft mechanisms with two natural candidates — serial dictatorship and draft mechanism. Our results show that draft mechanisms pose a viable alternative for resolving multi-object assignment problems
