Challenges and Opportunities for Trade and Financial Integration in Asia and the Pacific
The global economic crisis of 2008 has opened some old questions related to limits of export-oriented growth, including in the Asian and Pacific reiong, In that context, stronger regional integration has been put forward as one of the alternative sources of growth. This volume looks at a selected number of concerns and possible solutions related to enhancing trade and and financial integration in Asia and the Pacific. It is hoped that it will provide useful insights for both trade policy makers and researchers as well as for civil society representatives on remaining challenges and unused opportunities in integrating economies of Asia and the Pacific.
