'Crash of Implementing VPN's to Secure Wire and Wireless Network'

We categorized VPN's impact in to two different features; the affecting features, and affected feature. The affecting aspect of the impact encompass factors such as security, algorithms, hardware, and software. Whereas the affected feature of the like of network presentation. While VPN's have managed to integrate security, one of the affecting aspects of the impact on one hand, on other hand, VPN's should be regarded as a potential threat to network presentation. In this work, for affordability purpose, we choose to use NS-2 simulated test-bed to shed light on he VPN's performance impact in a network. Allowing for the most common network presentation metrics, throughput and delay;we assessed these presentation metrics by means of average and percentage changes theories. The findings emphasize quantitative impact on the TCP/IP throughput than on its counterpart UDP/IP. We finally developed an analytical equation to model this VPN'S performance crash
