The Indian higher education system is the third-largest in the world in terms of numbers, after China and the United States. There has been an unprecedented growth in the number of universities, colleges as well as enrollment in the higher education system particularly during the last one and a half-decade. In case management institutions in India have to survive and grow in the future and become world-class institutions, they need to be highly innovative to continuously improve the quality of management education, to make it relevant and purposive in the individual, local, and global context. This paper analyzes the scenario of management education with the views on innovative teaching in the management institutions in India. The study considers the demographic aspects of the like type of institution, institution-affiliated, gender, age, educational qualification, designation, the position of job, work experience, and subject specialization related to faculty and institute. In this study, the primary data was collected from 320 respondents from various management institutions in India using the structured questionnaire, all the samples are collected using a stratified sampling method from faculty members of various management institutions in India. The outcome of the study shows that all the demographic variables (type of institution, institution affiliation, gender, age, qualification, designation, position, experience, and specialization) show the significance for innovative teaching in management education in India
