Determining the affected area in emergencies

This paper presents an algorithm for determination of area affected by a major discharge of soluble toxic substances to surface water, and sets the problems that must be solved for correct evaluation â€” within this algorithm â€” of inclusion of particular areas of the surface water body into the affected area.
