Development of the website on the assessment of African protected areas : the tools used to do the analyses and develop the website and how they need to be re-engineered to ensure continued use

This report details the software and methods used in the analyses that underpin the Assessment of over 700 protected areas in Africa and the later development of a website to present these analyses and to present regularly updated environmental information about the protected areas. The report splits the analyses and website into logical components, describes the methods and tools that were used, and suggests how to best re-engineer each component so that the new website and underlying data are as easy to use and update as possible.
