ECONOMIC INSTRUCTION - A Bargaining Experiment to Motivate Discussion on Fairness - The author presents a classroom version of the Ultimatum Game, in which participants spend a day or two of class time on the topic of fairness. Classroom results are used to motivate discussion of the cost of fairness (or equality) and individuals' willingness to purchase it.
