Empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) by Indonesian Government by Establishing Policy of Establishment of Sole Proprietorship
Indonesia has a huge number of business actors which almost Micro Small and Medium Enterprise. It reached almost 99,9 percent from total business player all over the Territory. By data, during 2017, the contribution of MSME to Indonesia GDP reached 61 percent and absorb more than 97 percent from total workforce. Contrary to the facts of huge number of SMSE, Indonesia Authority and Business players tends to underestimate the existence of SMSE. Until now, there are some regulations which un-recognise the capability and competency of SMSE on doing business. Up to now, many limitations are implied to SMSE for servicing their business with their business partner. It seems SMSE categorized as business players for only served on informal business transactions. During the crisis, the MSME have shown their undeniable of their struggle for make the economic activities kept on running. When the big players are collapsed, SMSE activities can running as usual. There are many Business players then changing their business routing for make involvement of SMSE for their business chain. On the other sides, many new entrepreneurs are established during the crisis situation instead of big investment. Those entrepreneurs are desired to established their business on informal business. One of such reasons arise from their difficulties on applying the business licence pre-requisite especially on establishing Legal Business Entity. Realizing those facts, the Authority have intention to level up their capabilities on making dealing with market. The intention from authority then applied by enacting what they called it as “Job Creation Act”. By this Act, the Authority making policy to empowering the SMSE to enter the market. What kind of policy that categorize as an empowering of SMSE will clarify on this paper
