Ex 1, 15-22 in einer empirischen Lesestudie
In experimenteller Weise befasst sich die vorliegende Diplomarbeit mit dem Beitrag der empirischen Leseforschung für eine biblische Hermeneutik. Als exemplarischer Untersuchungsgegenstand wird die Perikope Ex 1, 15-22, die Erzählung der beiden Hebammen Schiphra und Pua, herangezogen. Im ersten Teil der Studie wird die Bibelstelle einer fundierten, historisch-kritischen Exegese unterzogen. Dieser Arbeitsschritt ist gerade hinsichtlich des innovativen Forschungsansatzes, der sich neuen, komplementären Methoden und Fragestellungen stellen möchte, als Grundlagenforschung unerlässlich, um eine Auswertung der Ergebnisse der weiteren Forschungsschritte in Gegenüberstellung, Abgrenzung oder Ergänzung zu fachlich gesicherten Methoden zu ermöglichen. Den zweiten, experimentellen Teil der Arbeit bildet die empirische Lesestudie, die – anders als die historisch-kritische Methode, die in textzentrierter Weise die Sinnentfaltung einer Bibelstelle durch historische Annäherung an Entstehung, Weitertradierung und Verschriftlichung des Textes sucht – in der Text-Leser/in-Interaktion einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Sinndeutung eines Textes und damit eine hermeneutische Schlüssel¬funktion sieht. In ihrem theoretischen Zugang wird die Studie einerseits im Kontext der Literaturwissenschaften verortet, die sich unter dem Begriff der Rezeptionsästhetik in besonderer Weise mit der Kommunikation zwischen Text und Leser/in befasst. Andererseits ist die empirische Studie hinsichtlich ihrer methodischen Konzeption als Teil der Erfahrungswissenschaften anzusehen und damit auch dem wissenschaftlichen Anspruch der qualitativen empirischen Forschung gerecht zu werden. Die Auswertung der empirischen Studie, insbesondere ihre Zusammenschau mit der historisch-kritischen Untersuchung, die im dritten Teil der Arbeit erfolgt, fördert neue Perspektiven, Interpretationsmöglichkeiten und Sinnnuancen zu Tage, die über das Besondere dieser exemplarischen Untersuchung hinaus Anreize für allgemeine Fragestellungen hinsichtlich des konstruktiven Beitrages der empirischen Leseforschung für die Bibelhermeneutik bieten. Die Frage nach der Relevanz der empirischen Ergebnisse für das Verstehen biblischer Texte wirft gleichsam die Frage auf, in welchem Verhältnis Ästhetik und Hermeneutik zu einander stehen. Inwiefern sie sich wechselseitig beeinflussen und wie sie sich in bereichernder und konstruktiver Weise in die methodische Forschungspraxis einbinden lassen, wird im letzten Teil der Diplomarbeit behandelt.
