Expected volume of information on transformation of structures as a measure of dissimilarity of structures
In socio-economic issues there is need to assess the degree of transformations between the assumed structure (a priori) ant the structure actually formed (a posteriori). This can apply to, for instance, the comparison of the assumed expenditures structure of certain economic objects with the structure that was actually implemented. The objective of the paper is to present the possibility of assessment of the degree of those transformations. It was proposed to use the expected volume of information on the transformation of the assumed structure into the actually achieved structure for investigating the degree of dissimilarity between those structures. The paper also presents the possibility of applying the actual entropy of structures and trigonometric entropy for studies on characteristics of structures.
