The handloom industry in India is an ancient industry in the world that produces unique handloom products on the domestic as well as global level with geographical indication. It is a highly unorganized sector that provides the highest employment opportunities in the country next to the agricultural sector. Tamil Nadu is one of the largest states producing handloom products in India. There are several problems faced by the handloom industry at present hence, the aim of the study is to find out the major problems such as input-related problems, output and marketing-related problems, and health-related problems
