"Festlandfieber" - Politisch-ökonomische Aspekte der Beziehungen Taiwans zum chinesischen Festland
Die vielbeachtete Dynamik des wirtschaftlichen Wandels im ostasiatischen Raum stellt für die dortigen Länder nicht nur den erfreulichen Weg zum Wohlstand dar, sondern ist gerade durch die erreichte Geschwindigkeit eine immense Herausforderung an Flexibilität and Anpassungsfähigkeit der Wirtschaftsstrukturen, Technologien, Institutionen und vor allem natürlich der Menschen. Während der Wachstumsprozeß der sechziger und siebziger Jahre in dem Sinne vergleichsweise reibungsfrei verlaufen konnte, daß moderne Strukturen und Institutionen erstmals zu wachsen hatten, gibt es für viele Länder heute einen großen Bedarf der radikalen Umstellung dieser Errungenschaften.
