Frustration in d-dimensional Ising systems with multi-spin interactions: The case of simple and centred hypercubic lattices

The problem of frustration in d-dimensional Ising systems with multi-spin interactions is discussed. It is shown that frustration can arise if the number w of interacting spins is less than some maximum value wmax.
