Gospodarski rast u zemljama u tranziciji : Dosadasnja iskustva i prognoze do svrsetka desetljeca

It will be soon ten years since the beginning of the process of profound economic transformation in almost about thirty countries arround the world which accepted the market orientation as an ultimate objective. Priority tasks in the past process of transition - liberalization and stabilization of macroeconomic system - should soon give up a place to more decisive measures of restructuring and privatization, what is hard to achieve with non-developed and impenetrable domestic financial system. The establishment of efficient frame for permanently sustainable long.term growth includes implicitly leading up to the end of all initiated market and structural reforms. The first part of the paper represents a short review of the part of theoretical and empirical works which reexamine possible determinants of fast and long-term sustainable growth of emerging markets. Along to analysis of economic conditions from the beginning of transition, it has been estimated the efficiency of all past carried out interventions of economic transformation. After that it examines the measures which countries in transition should undertake in future in order to reach developed European countries in a reasonable term. The second chapter analyzes the effects of carried out reforms on the present economic situation in particular transitional countries. In terms of that there are analyzed estimates on development dynamics of the most important macroeconomic dimensions in these countries till the end of century, with consideration of foreign restriction - the world economy and world trade trends in near future.
