The goal of this research is to examine business performance using reverse logistics viewpoints such as product disposition and reverse logistics aspects. To investigate the relationship between environmental outcome, profitability, and sales growth while applying institutional theory to test how institutional pressures regulate these correlations, researchers used innovation and resource commitment. The study uses customization of technology, the flexibility of processes, and financial, and managerial resources to narrow down various product disposition options such as 1. repair, 2. recondition, 3. remanufacture, 4. recycle, and 5. disposal as an independent variable Revere logistic innovation (customization of technology, and flexibility of processes), and Resource Commitment (financial, and managerial resources) as a mediator. These variables are all utilized to determine the impact of the firm's environmental outcome, profitability, and sales growth. A questionnaire survey is utilized to look into how manufacturing companies are involved in maintaining their reverse logistic operations, as well as the tactics they use to keep their innovation and management resources constant. The results suggested that product disposition options such as repair, recondition, and recycling seems to have a significant positive effect on both Revere logistic innovations (customization of technology, and flexibility of processes (FP). Similarly, repair, recondition, and recycling along with remanufacturing, also positively affect both financial and managerial Resource Commitment (RC). FP, and managerial RC, in turn positively affect all three outcomes of business performance, i.e., Environmental Outcome, Profitability, and Sales Growth. Recondition also seems to affect these three performance measures directly. Repair also seems to directly increase sales growth. Customization Of Technology and financial RC also seem to cause Sales growth. The findings of this study provide evidence for manufacturing executives to optimize the functional attributes of both products and parts for secondary market reuse sales that are highly profitable. Furthermore, this study focuses on the reverse logistics innovation and resource commitment components of reverse logistics product disposition activities, which have not been explored in previous reverse logistics studies
