Human Rights, Humiliation, and Globalization

This text is a chapter that highlights how human rights ideals together with globalization profoundly impinge on relationships, both globally and locally. This chapter calls attention to how certain psychological phenomena, such as dynamics of humiliation, gain significance, and thus have to be included into any equation of strategy or public policy planning, again, both globally and locally. From a global war against terror, to regional intractable conflicts, to community problems, as well as interpersonal and intrapersonal conflicts, macro, meso, and microlevels are affected.
