Impact of Global Value Chain on the Performance of SMEs

Global Value Chain (GVC) is affected in most of the Asian and south Asian countries. This study examines the impact of Global Value Chain on the performance of SMEs. Most of the SMEs in Asian and south Asian country linked or tried to link with the GVC. In this study identified key challenges and also the key success factors effect to link SMEs to GVC. Critically evaluate recommended five literatures related to that topic and get data and results relevant to the study (Srilanka, Indonesia, Thailand, Viatnam). In this paper discussed important of SMEs on any country and also the important on GVC. The factors effect on SMEs development and how SMEs contribute to the economy is very important.
