Impact of Work-Life Balance on Employee Performance in the Phase of COVID Pandemic with Reference to IT Industry

Due to this sudden outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, the whole world has gone for a pause with a drastic effect on the corporate work culture. People have shifted to remote working to maintain proper COVID norms so that they can work safely but effectively. The main purpose behind this research is to find out how employee performance is getting affected due to this shift of work culture in the IT Industry and to what extent employees can maintain work-life balance during this pandemic phase. Descriptive methodology adopted to collect the primary data using Likert scale questionnaire in data collection (survey method). The questionnaire are designed & administered among IT employees to get the viewpoint of the respondents. Hypothesis has been tested with chi-square test of association. Managerial and Theoretical Implication: A graphical data analysis method is used for analyzing certain parameters. The conclusion can be drawn from the study that this current pandemic situation is indeed affecting the work-life balance but this remote work environment has increased employee performance
