Influence of Y2o3 on the Microstructure and Tribological Properties of Laser Cladding Tic Reinforced Ni-Based Coating
Ni60 + TiC + x Y 2 O 3 (x = 0,1,3) alloy coatings were prepared by laser cladding. The addition of rare earth oxides significantly changed the size and morphology of TiC in the coating, and the morphology of TiC changed from bulk to fine dendrite. In addition, with the addition of rare earth oxide, the hardness and wear resistance of the coating also changed. The average hardness of the 3% Y 2 O 3 coating was 1074.73 HV 0.2 . The addition of Y 2 O 3 can effectively enhance the adhesion between TiC strengthening phase and matrix, reduce the spalling phenomenon of TiC in the friction process, reduce the friction loss volume, and improve the wear resistance of the coating
