Integration of Visibility and Risk in Sustainable Healthcare Supply Chain with Cost
The Healthcare Supply Chains (HSC) are large type of network systems, processes and components collectively work to procure and supply the medicines and other healthcare products to patients. Sustainable HSCs are more important to make a good relationship with suppliers and customers and to deliver more customer satisfaction cost-effectively. The sustainable HSCs improve, maintain, and restore the health and well-being of current and future generation. The methods adopted for improving the sustainability in supply chains have influence on the supply chain visibility and risk. Today’s businesses in high-velocity, complex and distributed logistics environment, uses real-time visibility and flexibility as strategic drivers. The literatures shows that HSCs integrating sustainability, visibility and risk are limited and needs attention. The major objective of the projects work is to study the behavioral pattern and elements connected to sustainability, visibility, and risk in a selected HSC. Assess the sustainability, visibility, risk based on the proposed sustainability, visibility, risk indices. A mathematical model is developed using Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) for optimizing the same
