Interindustry Balance Sheet of Labor Input and Its Economic Significance
The great scope of socialist production and construction in the USSR and the all-round development and intensification of economic ties call for steady improvement of the planned management of the national economy and for the most effective utilization of labor and material resources. The rational employment of labor resources in the national economy presumes, first and foremost, distribution of these resources among the branches and areas of the country in a way that will yield optimum production results with the minimum input of labor.
