MACROPRUDENTIAL BANKING SUPERVISION AND CONDITIONS OF ENSURING ITS EFFECTIVENESS

The essence of the macroprudential banking supervision is revealed as one of the key factors for ensuring financial sustainability in Ukraine in the increased financial instability and disorganization of the national economy that has drawn more attention to the issues of systemic risks prevention and safeguarding their driving consequences. The notions of institutional and functional efficiency of macroprudential banking supervision have been introduced, their content has been determined. Areas for improvement of the macroprudential banking regulation and supervision effectiveness in Ukraine have been outlined.
