Modeling the Choice of an Operating System for Internet Services Using AHP

Modeling the choice of an operating system for Internet services (OSIS) is one important area of decision-making that did not attract enough attention from researchers interested in the applications of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). In this paper, we develop, describe, and test An AHP model for selecting an OSIS to achieve two goals: (1) to help information systems managers deal with important problem, and (2) to examine the appropriateness of AHP as a supporting development paradigm for modeling such a perplexing process.
