Nests, nodes and niches : A system for process monitoring, information exchange and decision making for multiple stakeholders

Unlike many conventional monitoring systems, process monitoring stresses the dynamic aspect of projects and programs in both information gathering and use of the new knowledge generated. Recent experience with a multi-stakeholder situation in India has helped the authors reflect on existing information and decision-making systems and work alongside participants in evolving a process monitoring, information flow and decision-making system which may offer the structure and flexibility appropriate to such diverse needs.
