Norway's approach in supporting occupational safety and health compliance : role of the labour inspectorate and prevention services
This report presents the findings of research on the roles of the Labour Inspection Authority and prevention services in Norway in supporting occupational safety and health (OSH) compliance. It describes Norway's current OSH strategy and outlines results of six topic-specific case studies. The Authority has undergone important developments in recent years, including during the pandemic, that have enhanced OSH compliance promotion and enforcement. The report also discusses the transferability of the various activities aimed at improving OSH in Norway, to other countries.
