On error estimates of the numerical solution of the convection-diffusion equation
In recent years several numerical techniques have been developed for the solution of partial differential equations containing both convective and diffusive terms. One such equation is the convection-diffusion equation and numerical techniques for the solution of this equation are usually based on the finite difference or the finite element methods.
