On the use of memory circuits in analogue computers

Modern developments in computing control, together with ever more complex problems, have brought about a new feature in analogue computers, making these machines even more attractive; the use of memory units. Several firms have already produced such computers. A short description is given of one type of memory unit, using only normal analogue computing elements. Possible applications are illustrated on a problem treated in the author's laboratory.
