Organisation Justice and Employee Engagement in IT & Consulting Firms
During Industrial Revolution, organisations have undergone significant structural and functional changes since the beginning. The initial profit-driven strategy at employees’ expense has been replaced by a more humanistic approach to employee welfare. Organisations started to come forward with innovative approaches to engage their employees and organizational justice is one such concept. In today's workplace, organisational justice has a significant impact on employees. Many external factors, such as their family environment, culture, and so on, will influence their decision to work in a particular setting which is related to employee engagement. How the organisation accommodates the demands of each of these social and financial goals will have an impact on how they evaluate workplace justice and their engagement. The study is addressing Organization justice which affects the Employee engagement in the private sector. Issues of fair pay, equal opportunity for promotion, and personnel selection procedures can all be considered issues of justice contributing to the poor performance. The lack of organisational justice, which contributes to the problem, is another factor that is overlooked in the private sector. The objective of the study is to analyse the impact of perceived organisational justice on employee engagement in the private sector. The data was collected by surveying 130 IT and Consulting employees from private companies in South India. The results show that distributive justice has an effect on employee engagement
