Peer review of the Polish research and innovation system : Horizon 2020 Policy Support Facility : background report

The Horizon 2020 Policy Support Facility (PSF) has been set up by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) under the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation 'Horizon 2020'. It supports Member States and countries associated to Horizon 2020 in reforming their national science, technology and innovation systems. This report summarises evidence on the situation in the field of science and higher education in Poland and provides a focused background for the PSF Peer Review of Poland's research and innovation system, conducted in 2017 by a panel of independent experts and national peers.
