Preparation of Bunched Ceo2 and Study on Microwave Absorbing Properties with Mwcnts Binary Composite
Herein, bunched cerium oxide (CeO 2 ) and its composite with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTS) were prepared by hydrothermal method. The structure, composition, microtopography and electromagnetic parameters of the materials were systematically studied by different analytical techniques. Research results revealed that the minimum reflection loss (RL) of the composite achieved −45.7 dB at 15.79 GHz with a thickness of 5.5 mm. Furthermore, reflection loss was less than -30 dB in the thickness range of 5.0-7.5 mm at 11.36-17.77 GHz which showed the composite had a good absorbing effect over a wide thickness range. The results could be helpful for designing and developing rare earth oxide composite materials as the high-performance microwave absorbers
