Process Areas Impacting on the Quality of Asset Management Information in Engineering Organisations

In this paper we examine the Engineering Asset Management (EAM) business process and identify various process areas which are thought to have an impact on the quality of asset information. Therefore, this paper may assist in the enhancement of the collection, storage and use of engineering asset management information with the aim of enhancing the Information Quality (IQ). It is thought that this would lead to an improvement in organisational learning and asset management related decision making
