A Reality Check: Regional Integration and Development Impact in Cross-border European Projects in Southern Europe: Preliminary Findings from Three Case Studies

This presentation discusses select regional integration projects from Southern Europe and the impact from these case studies. Specifically mentioned are the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and INTERREG, an initiative that aims to stimulate cooperation between regions in the European Union. This presentation was presented at the Technical Seminar "The Quest for the Missing Links," which was held February 1st-2nd, 2010 at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC.
