Redes e innovación cooperativa

This article examines the dynamics of innovation in co-operative groups in the current phase of globalisation. In the first part of the article a number of key factors - necessary to be taken into account in any process of innovation are analysed, such as the innovation networks, human capital, social capital and business clusters. Then the process of innovation at the Mondragón Corporación Cooperativa (MCC) is analysed to determine how co-operatives adapt to these key elements in innovation. To this end, the empirical part has been structured in the following manner: firstly, based on a historical approach, the Innovation Network of the MCC is studied. Then the article deals with the analysis of the elements that make up the Innovation Network, and subsequently discusses the relation of Innovation and Internationalisation. The article closes with conclusions drawn from this investigation.
