Reducing Uncertainty Associated with Managing Technology Innovation : An Ism and Micmac-Based Study
Technology innovation facilitates the growth and sustainability of economies and organisations; however, it is a process that is characterised by uncertainty. This research contributes new knowledge by reducing uncertainty associated with managing success factors for each of the innovation process stages. For this study, the key to reducing such uncertainty has been the identification of interrelationships that exist between success factors for each of the innovation process stages through the application of ISM and MICMAC. Contribution to practice is made by guiding managers regarding the ranking order in which factors should be addressed when managing the stages of the process
