Role of S&T Parks in the Technological Equality in the World

The technological concentration in the advanced world caused the wealth concentration leading to high inequality in the world. The difference in per capita income between developing and developed worlds created many social problems that also harm the advanced world like terrorism, money laundering, human trafficking, and smuggling of goods. The social unrest caused global instability that God forbade, which may lead to world war III. This paper argues that the technological diffusion in the developing world will improve their livelihood, reduce poverty and make the world live in harmony and peace. S&T Parks in the advanced world have a reservoir of technologies that can be provided to the developing world through a technology diffusion framework. The S&T parks in the developing world can host this technology transfer and play role in the localized diffusion. We argue that technology transfer from S&T parks of the developed world to S&T parks of the developing world needs to be used as an instrument of development may be called I4D; Innovation for Development. The areas like environment, healthcare, SMEs, technical education, and housing to be treated as pro-poor and prioritized for technology transfer and diffusion. The S&T parks of the developed world to be inspired to offer technologies to developing world S&T parks at a much-discounted rate and implementation to be supported by international development agencies
