Roots and Consequences of local Governance Reforms in Hungary
This comprehensive assessment in an international and theoretical context of the territorial framework of public power practices focuses on the Hungarian case. Making such an assessment is justified by the fact that the institutional framework of Hungarian local government was set up when the regime changed twenty years ago. It is high time to assess operations, even more so since plans for reforming the territorial public administration are regularly proposed.
