Safety and health in micro and small enterprises in the EU : the view from the workplace

This report presents the findings of a qualitative study of understandings and experiences of occupational safety and health (OSH) in 162 cases of micro and small firms selected from a range of economic sectors in nine EU Member States. Its aim was to present a 'view from the workplace' by exploring experiences and understandings of OSH within micro and small enterprises (MSEs) and the influence of contexts in which they are situated.
