Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Seleksi Penerimaan Beasiswa Dengan Metode AHP Dan Topsis (Studi Kasus: FMIPA USU)

Scholarship is a help provided by certain institutions for students who have good achievement academics or for those who are financially underprivilege. To determine who deserves the scholarship, it is important to use Decision Support System(DSS). The method used on this DSS is Analitical Hierarcy Process(AHP) and Technique Order Preference by Similarity To Ideal Solution(TOPSIS). On this research, there will be a case to find the best alternative based on criterias that already determined using AHP method, then find the solution using TOPSIS method. This method was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative among some alternatives, in this case the intended alternative is the one who deserve the scholarship based on certain criterias. The research is done by searching the weight that will determine optimal alternative, which is the best student.
