Preis- und Importkontrollen, die schon während der Kolonialzeit eingeführt wurden, haben die gewünschten Ziele (z.B. Eindämmung der Inflation) kaum erreicht, sondern im Gegenteil zur Herausbildung eines Schwarzmarktes geführt. Die Lösung der wirtschaftlichen Probleme ist daher nicht durch administrative Kontrollen, sondern nur durch Produktivitätssteigerungen zu erreichen. (DÜI-Spe)
