Spatial design for basic needs in Eastern Upper Volta

Methodological problems of basic needs are addressed and it is shown how to respond to an actual request by planners. Their objective is to provide a system of basic needs to reach to rural population within a given threshold of distance. An example of how quantitative format may aid local development agencies is offered, helping them to present tangible and precise projects for international financing.(DSE)
