Special Economic Zone : An Effective Tool for Economic Development

The present article was written with the intention of examining the nature of Special Economic Zone having societal developmental goals. In the process, highlighting their common problems and proposing answers those problems through studying their developmental significance. The article also evaluates the superiority of SEZ over EPZ or EOUs by studying the impact of SEZ on Indian Economy as a whole. The outcome of this experience is that we as a developing country has to maintain a holistic approach towards economic development with active initiatives in terms of developing Special Economic Zone for balanced and more rapidly economic growth
