Study on employment and working conditions of aircrews in the EU internal aviation market : stakeholder consultation report : final report

This report provides a summary of the outcomes of the stakeholder consultation activities that were carried out as part of the ex-post evaluation on common rules for the operation of air services in the Community. It provides a basic analysis of the range of stakeholder groups that have engaged in those activities and a summary of the main issues raised by stakeholders. The consultation activities undertaking included: - A survey of pilots was launched on 26th March and was open for responses until 7th May 2018 (6 weeks); - A survey of cabin crew was launched on 22nd March 2018 and was open for responses until 3rd May 2018 (6 weeks); - A survey of airlines was launched on 22nd March 2018 and was open for responses until 3rd May 2018 (6 weeks); - A survey of ministries of employment was launched on 20th March 2018 and was open for responses until 2nd May 2018 (6 weeks); - A survey of labour inspectorates was launched on 20th March 2018 and was open for responses until 2nd May 2018 (6 weeks); - For both of the surveys aimed at national authorities, extensions were granted until 8th June 2018. - 35 phone interviews with a selected number of stakeholders including national authorities, airlines, aircrew and airline associations, pilots, cabin crew, and flight schools conducted by Ricardo that took place during the period 29th January 2018 to 31st May 2018.
