Successful Entrepreneurship Cases in the Caribbean
This paper identifies and briefly describes 20 entrepreneurial businesses throughout the CARIFORUM countries that, with additional resources, have the potential for growth, to accelerate the economic transformation process throughout the region and, from an overall perspective, enhance the economic and social position of the citizens in Caribbean countries. The overall context for this piece of work is to try and overcome a number of constraints that currently hinder business establishment and growth in the CARIFORM countries using a multi-pronged approach. This includes rationalising the business registration and support processes, cross border challenges, enhancing information exchange, and assisting entrepreneurs, particularly young entrepreneurs, to succeed through a combination of financial and technical support.
